“Strength like a lion burns like fire in my veins
I will run and I will not grow weary until I’m face to face
I feel the pleasure of my Lord when I’m in stride
For the glory of the Lord is man who is completely alive”

– Josh Garrels (Run)

Day 22

What are the strengths that you have created inside of us before the foundation of the world? How can we use these strengths to bring you glory and honor and to love those that are lost and broken?

“Lack of peace will hinder you from making wise decisions. Hope for all things and believe all things are possible when you press into Me. I am giving you the ability to read and discern the emotions of others so that you can use this knowledge to bless others and to glorify the kingdom. Don’t let the enemy twist the truth. You know the truth. I will give you the words. I will give you the wisdom. Everything you need comes from me. Get out of your small minded way of thinking. I want to show you the world. I want to show you beautiful things. I make all things new. When you come alive you have the power within you to save, raise up and rescue those who have died in their spirit.”

Promise 22: Thank you for promising that Your children will overcome the world through their faith.  Your strength and Your power secure our victory. (1 John 5:4) “For whatever is born of God overcomes the world. This is the victory that has overcome the world: your faith.”

Day 23

Father my desire is to press into You and to live my life in such a way that I can touch and reach others who think that you can’t use them anymore. I want to help you love and save those who have lost their way and have given up hope. I do not want to live for bare pleasure but to delight myself in You, Lord. “For we are to God the pleasing aroma of Christ among those who are being saved and those who are perishing.” “Remember that I delight in every detail of your life. Learn to live in the moment and appreciate all that I have created around you. When you learn to appreciate My creations you will learn to create your own beauty in this world and in My kingdom. ‘It is through creating, not possessing that life is revealed’ I will show you how to create your dreams.”

Don’t be driven by your fear of failure, be driven by what excites you, by what makes you come alive 🙂

Day 24

My desire is to live my life in such a way that not only my words but my actions peach good news, a perfect savior, eternal hope and a kingdom of love, peace and joy that cannot be taken away.

“How can you understand their hearts if you haven’t been through the experience, if you have not shared in the pain? I will reveal to you how I will use you in My kingdom. Be patient. Be expectant. Watch as what I’m doing in your life unfolds. Don’t be afraid to hear Me tell you great things. I will give you the strength to handle the hidden things that I will reveal to you.”

Promise 24: Thank you for promising to come to us as certainly as the sun rises and the spring rains fall. (Hosea 6:3) “Let us acknowledge Yahweh. Let us press on to know the Lord. As surely as the sun rises, He will appear. He will come to us like the rain, like the spring rain that waters the earth.”

Day 25

“I will give you the power to break the confines of this world to create a true source of life. The earth cannot hold what you carry. I will show you what it means to come alive. You are becoming the beauty you are creating, defined by the light that you carry. Never hold onto what I’ve placed inside of you but give it freely to those that are perishing.”

You are my motivating force, my reason to love. I dream of living a desperate life of devotion. I will never regret taking the chance to follow You.

Promise 25: Thank you for promising that you will bless the poor in spirit with Your kingdom. Matthew 5:3 “Blessed are the poor in spirit, for theirs is the Kingdom of Heaven.” You have chosen the poor of this world to shame the rich, the weak to shame the strong and the foolish things of the world to shame the wise. (1 Corinthians 1:26-29)

Day 26

Lord today I offer up what little I have and wait expectantly as I know you will multiply it into something incredible. I set me heart and my mind on the things above. (Colossians 3:12) Thank you for Your might, Your power, Your extended hands and all of Your wonders.

“Invest in Me. Invest in My kingdom above. When you are at peace I will reveal to you great and mighty things. You won’t truly be happy getting comfortable. I created your happiness in many seasons.”

Promise 26: Thank you for promising to give us beauty to replace our ashes. (Isaiah 61:3) …”to appoint to those who mourn in Zion, to give to them a garland for ashes, the oil of joy for mourning, the garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness; that they may be called trees of righteousness, the planting of Yahweh, that He may be glorified.”

Day 27

Father I bring to you what I have today and lay it at your feet as an offering and my desire is to allow you to multiply it. I pray that you would reveal to us what’s on Your heart today.

“Find your focus [Me] and you will find your peace” (Romans 5:3-5)

Promise 27: Thank you for promising to be our light and that we will reign with You forever (Revelation 22:5) “There will be no night, and they need no lamp light; for the Lord God will illuminate them. They will reign forever and ever.” We do not live in darkness but are called as children of the light. (Ephesians 5:8)

Day 28

…”But we also exult in our tribulations, knowing that tribulation brings about perseverance….and perseverance, proven character and proven character, hope; and hope does not disappoint, but because the love of God has been poured out within our hearts through the holy spirit who was given to us.” (Romans 3:3-5) Father I pray that from a place of intimacy with you that I would hear your heart for others and then do something for them that reminds them that they are not forgotten.

“Speak words of life and affirmation into them as encouragement as they begin to step into their identities and discover my purposes and calling for their lives.”

Don’t forsake in the dark what you heard in the light. (Ephesians 2:8-10)

“As you grow in maturity your responsibility will grow. I will give you the strength to be disciplined. I am expanding your abilities as you draw closer to me. You are my living hope.”

Lord my desire is to be a living vessel that the Holy Spirit can move in. My hope sin your mercy. (Psalm 147:11) My desire is to remind people that they have not been forgotten. My desire is to focus on simple acts of kindness that point back to you.

Promise 28: Thank you for promising eternal glory that far surpasses our present troubles. (2 Corinthians 4:17) “For our light affliction, which is for the moment, works for us more and more exceedingly an eternal weight of glory;” Let us not only endure, but thrive the hardships of life…knowing what is yet to come.
